Taiwan fisherman caught a Manta Ray “by accident” and towed it back to pier. Fisherman claimed he wasn’t able to release it, so he wanted to wait until all the other fishing boats went back, and then he would tow the Manta back out and release it. Either way, whatever the news wrote, everyone who saw the live video feeds saw and heard everything. Thanks for the people who cared and thanks to the residents in Penghu and the few who went out back to sea to release the Manta. Hopefully the Manta is still alive. But can you all imagine the pain it suffered? I’m still sad and disappointed.
